Besiege is an exciting war machine creation simulator that allows you to unleash your creativity and build the ultimate destructive contraptions. Whether you want to construct a flamethrower-propelled helicopter, an infernal train with rotating blades, or a catapult that launches more catapults, this game has got you covered.
In Besiege, your objective is simple: destroy. How you achieve this goal is entirely up to you. With 15 levels currently available (with more to come), you'll have plenty of opportunities to wreak havoc on strongholds, enemies, and strategic points.
At the beginning of each level, you'll need to design a war engine that suits the specific objective. You'll have access to a wide range of materials and elements, from basic wheels and steering wheels to advanced components like pistons and springs. And of course, don't forget to arm your creation with weapons such as flamethrowers, explosives, and fireballs.
Building your war machine is a breeze thanks to the intuitive and user-friendly editor. Simply select the element you want to install and place it wherever you desire. If you make a mistake or want to make changes, you can easily remove or move elements, or undo your previous actions.
Besiege's physics system adds another layer of realism to the game. Everything behaves realistically, so if your machine catches fire, it will be partially destroyed and start to spiral out of control. This not only adds to the challenge but also provides plenty of opportunities for laughter and learning from your mistakes.
The graphics in Besiege are practical and focused on the destructible surroundings. This approach allows the game to run smoothly even on older computers, without the need for extensive open worlds or vast landscapes.
Once you've mastered the concepts of Besiege, you'll become the Leonardo Da Vinci of chaos and destruction. Don't be afraid to push the limits of your designs and create even bigger and more elaborate war machines. And if everything goes wrong, you can always install a self-destruct mechanism for a spectacular finale.
Besiege is still in Early Access on Steam, but it has already surpassed many other games in this category. If you're a fan of creative destruction and have been eagerly waiting for a game like this, don't hesitate to give Besiege a try. Who knows, your designs might even inspire future war machine creators.
